• What is the Imagination Project: 

  The Imagination Project by Authentic Collectables is an idea born out of creativity and a desire to produce a range of cool cars with no limits.

  ‘What if’ is the main question that drives this project. What if a designer had absolutely free range to create a racing livery without any restrictions? What if a driver could decide how their car would look? What kind of art cars could artists create on race or road cars? What if we combined retro and modern racing styles?

  The questions, ideas and outcomes created by this project are limited only by our collective imaginations. In fact, the only limits that are placed on the models created in this range is the limited edition number.

  Driven by our own creative division and also working with other designers, artists, brands, drivers and more - the Imagination Project is a collection of interesting, wild and fun limited edition models for motorsport, car and art & design collectors.

  Our latest edition in this range is this unbelievable Ford FGX Falcon Supercar with an incredible, custom livery designed by Tristan Groves. 

  The approach to this design started with that simple ‘what if’ idea that is the basis of the Imagination Project. What if Ford wanted a design for a Falcon livery, with no restrictions, that has never been seen before in V8 Supercars.

  Seeing a stylised bird motif on the sides of a Falcon race car isn’t a new concept, but Tristan’s approach to this edition is. It features an incredibly striking Falcon illustration adorning the sides of the car and bonnet, a bold #1 design combined with patterns, vibrant colours and more over a blue, Ford branded base.

  It’s a fusion of past and present, of illustration, street art and motorsport on the last Falcon ever raced in Australia. A perfect addition to the Imagination Project and one we’re sure fans of both Ford and Tristan’s work will love.
